"I remember RT - University Ave, Palo Alto, mid-late ''60''s. Great menu - Guinevere''s Delight, Friar Tuck''s Fancy, et al,. Also, their hamburgers and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Great music on the juke box. Stanford sororities ordering 30 pizzas to go on already busy Fri and Sat nights. And, yes, they did have round tables - medium and large - depending on the size of your party. Pizza crusts being made in the front window and classically tossed in the air to shape much to the entertainment of passers-by. The occasional handful of flour tossed at the glass at spectating known regulars always got a laugh. Always a busy, popular place, and it didn''t hurt that Baskin Robbins was next door for desserts or if you decided you were still hungry and needed a pizza after the cone. :- )"
